Prototype for the exhibition "Leuchten der Moderne", curated by Hanna Krüger and Jakob Gebert as part of the 100 years Bauhaus program. Topic of the project is a reinterpretation of a no more existing sample called 40.01 (40) Pendelleuchte mit Planspiegel from Wilhelm Wagenfeld. Wagenfeld's design captivates with two different glass surfaces - one mirrored and one frosted which are operating as diffuser and reflector. His pendant lamp illuminates the room from above. The interpretation of Wagenfeld’s lamp reflects the function of the sample and represents it in the best light from below.
