We understand the site of production as a place to hone knowledge. Those who produce are in the know. Knowledge is formed over the generations and through experience. As designers we rely on participation in this experience.
Good creations always contain production knowledge. Who will be the keeper of knowledge, and who will develop it further, if production keeps dissipating? We are interested in the culture of fabrication. It is situated on a boundary line, connecting the world of thoughts with the world of things. Cardboard is a material with which we build all our designs on a scale of 1 to 1.
